About
Based in fast paced London but born from a love of slow travel and world adventures, Wizard Works makes the cutest bags for urban and adventure cyclists.
With an aesthetic that lies somewhere between timeless classic and 80’s rave, Wizard Works is on a mission to bring the party to bike packing. Wizard Works aims to address the lack of jolly technical gear by making high quality bikepacking bags with an emphasis on cute shapes and fun colours. Designed and manufactured in house at our studio in South East London, each bag is brought to life by a small team of humans and a robot to the sounds of disco, techno and a lot of 90’s hits.
Our Story
Hailing from opposite sides of the world but sharing a love of all things bikes and adventures (and snacks!), one overnight bike trip to the Mornington Peninsula turned into a wild obsession and thousands of miles cycled over 16 countries. Harry and Veronica first imagined Wizard Works in 2015, somewhere between Japan and Malaysia while on a year long bike trip. What started as a hobby, came to life in Ve’s family garage in New Zealand before making its way back to Harry’s hometown, London, in 2019. Wizard Works has found its forever home in South East London and is now a team of five humas and one robot.

Ethics
Being an ethical manufacturer is a fundamental part of who we are.
We pay above the London living wage and don’t use exploitative unpaid internships. By manufacturing inhouse we control every aspect of our business. As a brand, no matter how small, we have the power to give back to our planet and our community. We choose to do this by working to promote diversity in cycling through things like The Ultra Distance Cycling Scholarship. We committed to give at least 1% of our sales to grass roots campaigns that are working to combat climate change. We have made a commitment to only supply independent bike shops because we understand how vital these bike shops are as local community hubs.

Sustainability
Our climate is in a crisis and our every decision is informed by a desire to do more and be better.
At our core we offer high quality gear to facilitate carbon-free travel. Our bags are built to last, and we back them up with a lifetime warranty and a gear repair service to reflect our buy once buy well philosophy. We understand that the best performing fabrics are not good for the environment, we are actively working to replace our current fabrics with recycled yarn fabrics made in Europe from European post-consumer waste. This made it challenging for us as a small business as we lack the buying power to unlock the minimum order quantities for additional colours. Until then, we are working on our ReWorked collection which is made almost entirely from recycled materials including outer fabric, liner, plastic, zip and webbing.
We are proud members of 1% for the planet and have partnered with Trees for Cities, a London based charity working at a national and international scale to improve lives by planting trees in towns and cities.
Collaborations
We relish the chance to work with other like minded and interesting brands and people.
Each collaboration allows us to explore something a little different than our usual offering and produce something unique and cool.
