Rat Tail is a minimalist rack built for 6–9″ drybags — a sleek alternative to troublesome seat packs (and definitely not a pannier rack).
At just 410g with hardware, it’s lighter than many seat packs, yet more stable, dropper-friendly, and packed with mounting options for bottles, cages, or other gear, thanks to its long platform and two pairs of anything cage mounts.
It fits almost any bike — no rack mounts required. Just clamp to your seat post or tube, then strap the legs to your stays with zip-ties or clamps. Got a tall road frame? Add the Seat Stay Bridge Adapter for a perfect fit.
