So you want a Custom Fit Frame Bag but you’re not sure how to choose between Zip or Roll-Top? There’s advantages to both, read on to find out which is the best for you

Zip Frame Bags

The zip frame bag can be made partial or full. The full frame bag can have a single zip for one large space, or two zips with a fold away floor so you can choose between two compartments, or one.

The liner is not floating which means it is compatible with optional features such as internal mesh pockets, a non-drive side zip pocket, and a vertical divider. There is are straps under the top tube to hold tent poles or a pump, and a hydration port on the non-drive side for cables or a bladder hose.

We use top of the line Riri zippers, which allows quick access to the bag.

Roll-Top Frame Bags

We designed the roll top frame bag to take advantage of our seam taping technology; this bag has a fully taped floating liner making the bag waterproof.

The other advantage of this bag is there are no zips. While we only use the highest quality Riri zips for our frame bags, bike bags have a hard life, and zips are a stress point that can sometimes fail. If that happens all is not lost, we offer zipper replacement. But if you are doing a long or remote trip, a zip failing on the road could really impact your trip.

The roll top is secured with 2 webbing straps and metal G-buckles to keep your roll sinched. G-buckles are easy to use with gloves and are almost impossible to break. Due to the floating liner construction this bag has no internal pockets or dividers and is only available as a full-sized frame bag.

All Custom Fit Frame Bags are reinforced in the seams with high density foam and HDPE inserts to hold their shape and avoid pulling away from the bike tubes when mounted.
